My name is Erin Bush and I am from Franklin, Indiana. I am majoring in Agronomy in the Soil and Environmental option with a secondary major in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences. This fall I will be a second semester Junior and plan to graduate in December 2016, then go on to graduate school. This summer I am interning in the Kansas State University Agronomy Department for Dr. Nathan Nelson and graduate student David Abel. David's watershed research project is finding best management practices to reduce phosphorus loss via runoff. We are comparing covercrop vs non-covercrop with fall broadcast phosphorus, spring injected phosphorus, and no phosphorus application.
