Keith King has been with DuPont Pioneer since October 2012 where he has worked in the Soybean Product Development as a Native Traits breeder. He recently began leading efforts for the non GM segment to focus on breeding and testing in key regions where commercial demand exists. Prior to joining DuPont Pioneer, Keith obtained his doctorate in Interdisciplinary Genetics at Iowa State University with a research focus in QTL mapping mineral traits in soybean. He obtained a MS degree at the University of Arkansas in Plant breeding and genetics. There his research focus was on the development of screening techniques and identification of new sources of white mold resistance in brassica species. Keith received his BS degree in Crop and Soil Sciences from Langston University, Langston, OK. There he was an USDA 1890s Scholar, which provided the avenue to peak his interest in agricultural research.
